ICED

ICED is a short film about a young hockey player named Spencer, who wakes up to discover his partner Rory is missing from bed. Could something terrible have happened to them?

This short film was created by Director Simon Ardoin, Producer Braden Wolf, Savannah Lawson, Shelby Wescoe, Kahlil Smalls, Morgan Stemm, and Taylor Marcy. It was produced for the SCAD ANIM 372 course.

Layouts For ICED

These are the layouts I worked on for ICED. For these layouts it was my job to create the color palette, shade, and add texture to the layouts. My teammate Morgan Stemm drew the line art for the layouts and our Director Simon Ardoin added some lighting effects to the windows.

Animation

This is the animation I worked on for the short film.

In this shot our characters Spencer (left) finally understands who was making all that noise. He sees that his partner Rory (right) had baked him a cake to celebrate his arrival home.

For this shot I was responsible the rough animation, clean up, and color. I worked on all moving elements in this shot.

In this shot we have our character slowly deciding what he is about to do. And he becomes determined to confront the noise.


I did the rough animation and clean up for this shot, and Kahlil Smalls did the color for the animation.
